This bead rolled in front of me while I was sorting dzi beads and immediately I notice something different for this particular bead. The body is full of black cinnabar dot!!! I have handled thousands of authentic Tibetan old and new dzi beads. This is the first time I encounter a new dzi bead with cinnabar dots! The cinnabar dots is one of the detection method to know the age of a dzi bead. New dzi beads never have any? |
